Alfreton

Working with a fledgling housing developer we were able to secure detailed planning approval for eight dwellings on the site. A mixture of small and large properties, almost every plot was sold prior to completion. of the site. Upon completion of the project a local planning officer complimented the developer for retaining a consistent street scene. These are timber framed houses with a masonry outer leaf and comprised plenty of glazing on the rear elevations to take advantage of the far-reaching countryside views.

Darley Dale

This client had struggled for some time to obtain permission for an agricultural worker’s dwelling on his land. We were able to negotiate with the planning officer to secure approval for the dwelling in the officer’s preferred location. Then through a further application (working alongside a planning consultant) we were able to demonstrate that the dwelling was similarly appropriate in the client’s preferred location. As you can see this position provides superb views over the Derbyshire Dales countryside. Built in stone with a slate roof and nestled into the sloping land the farmhouse is simple yet quite striking..

Pentrich Road

Our client bought this site with Planning Approval for a simple 3 bedroom property. Working closely with the Planning Officer we were able to develop the approval into permission for a luxury 4 bedroom property that was sold off-plan prior to completion of the build.

We are particularly pleased with the large open plan kitchen which addresses the extensive rear garden in a manor that the purchasers say 'clinched the deal' for them.

Horsley Woodhouse

Our clients came to us facing enforcement action from the Local Authority having begun construction prior to discharging the conditions of their planning approval.

We spent the next 6 months developing their architect's drawings to no avail, and a further 4 months working on a revised scheme before a satisfactory design was approved.

Given the sloping nature of the site we, and the clients, are very pleased with the finished scheme.

The completed development boasts superb views over the local golf course and was definitely worth the wait.
